House Race Rankings

The following ratings are final, barring exceptional and unanticipated late–breaking news.

Seats are ordered by the likelihood that the party controlling them will change in the 2010 election. This listing should (especially for Democratic seats at risk) be viewed as more of a rough guide than a strict ordering, with a greater separation in ranking being far more significant than a slight one.

218 seats are required for a majority, and no seat is likely to be gained by any third party or independent.
